The Main Lodge of the Timbers at Chama ranks among a select

great room provides an inspirational setting for everything from poetry

Take your guests through the French doors onto the 1200
sq. ft. deck, and enjoy the transformation of another kind of beauty.
Refresh and relax in the hot tub, as a fire is burning in the outdoor
fireplace. Watch the sunset on the snow-covered peaks as elk graze below

If you savor fine food and drink, you’ll find plenty at The Timbers. Guests of The Timbers at Chama can select from a variety of meal plans designed by our Chefs from Santa Fe, Taos and the Chama River Valley. We use only the freshest ingredients available and present our guests with a varied menu featuring native New Mexican fare and other Rocky Mountain specialties.

may feel there just isn’t time to sleep. However, retiring to one
of the Main Lodge’s five private rooms is no less a part of the
Timbers at Chama experience. Each room is aptly themed, from the expansive
Ponderosa to the roomy Brazos, Wapiti, Cumbres and Rio Chama suites.
Each has its own private bath with Jacuzzi tub, gourmet coffee service,
en-suite phones, satellite Television and in room safe for your valuables.
