Scenic Steam Railway

 The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad is America’s highest and longest narrow gauge rail line. The railway traveled by the mighty steam locomotive is one of the finest examples of steam-era transportation in North America. The views and terrain are spectacular! There are full excursion trips spanning the full 64-mile span, mid-way options or express rides. Daily excursions and special event options are available from June to October. Advance reservations are recommended! The train is accessible in downtown Chama, about 12 minutes from the ranch.
